William C. Holly, 70, passed away August 21, 2019. He was born and raised in Asheville, NC to the late William Sr. and Ruth (Caldwell) Holly and was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Michael Ray Hyatt, 69, of Candler, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
A native of Haywood Co., Michael was a son of the late Walter Stanley Hyatt, Sr., and Augusta Brookshire Hyatt. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Michael Hyatt, who sadly passed way in 2000 at the age of 23; sisters, Marie Rickard and Pauline Duckett; brothers, Billy Hyatt, Jack Hyatt, and Walter Hyatt, Jr.

Lynda Gayle Wells, age 74, a resident of Candler, NC passed away on February 20, 2023. Lynda was born in Eugene, OR on December 9, 1948 to the late George Albert “Jim” James and Helen Snead James. Lynda previously resided in Oregon, Alaska, and Tennessee.
Lynda graduated from Erwin High School and then attended at St. Genevieve of the Pines. Lynda worked for the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Biltmore Lake Homeowners Association. She was an avid reader and loved to play bridge.
