It is now in the past, but our Class of ’67 picnic was September 14, 2019.   

Event Venue:  The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill, 2 Country Spring Drive, Asheville, NC  28804   (2.6 miles from Ingles New Leicester Highway).  Check out their website:  The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill.

The Barn and property have been renovated as an event center that is used for many types of events including weddings.  While providing indoor accommodations, both ends of the Barn are open with a patio and fire pit on one end.  There’s lots of space for us to mingle both inside and outside. 
   
Time:  3:00 until 7:00.  Everyone was encouraged to come early and enjoy the afternoon catching up with old friends.  Meal was served around 5:30.

Caterer:  Twisted Laurel Picnic Buffet

Menu:  Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken breast (grilled on site), potato salad, slaw, BB baked beans, smoky tomato based braised kale, apple cobbler and other desserts.
