Something Beautiful Remains
     (Author Unknown)

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains….
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.

We have lost many members of our class.  Our sympathies are extended to all of their families as they are dearly missed.

On March 8, 2021, Bruce's sister Peggy wrote:

"As spring approaches I find myself noticing the flowers that remind me of Neil. He was a master gardener. He could grow anything. Whatever he planted it flourished.

My brother was also a wonderful cook. Everyone in the family looked forward to cookouts at his house. We knew we were in for a treat.

I know in my heart that Neil is at peace walking with the Lord on paths lined with daffodils, crocuses, tulips and all the flowers he loved. View Memorial and Tributes

Barbara West (Christiansen)

2018-04-03

Barbara Christiansen West slipped the surly bonds of earth to fly among the stars with her beloved Dave, already almost five years a starman, on April 3, 2018. Her joint citizenship between Davenport FL, the location of her passing, and Waxhaw NC allowed her to spread her love among family, friends and strangers. She was friendly, feisty and generous to a fault. Curious of life's mysteries, she was a voracious reader, animal lover and defender of social justice. Her tenderheartedness was not bamboozled by fools and any cruelty toward the 4-legged or 2-legged d...
