Comment: This most current picture I have of me. I am in the hat at a dog test. I graduated in 1967 from Erwin. i then went to work Enka which now BASF I believe. Here is brief timeline of my life. 1967 1968 work at Enka 1968-1988 US Army in the Army i work on air defense system called HAWK. My job consisted of computers, IFF, and radar repair. Served two tours in Germany where I met and married my wife Diane. She was teaching school in DODS. Five years later our son was born. 1972-1984 Germany during this time I did a lot of traveling during my free. I went to many different places and always enjoyed the learning came from travel. I traveled every where I was permitted. I could not travel to the eastern block countries because of job requirements. The travel included places from the Artic Circle and far south as the island of Crete. In 1984 we returned to US and ended up at Fort Bragg, NC. 1984-1988 Stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC retired after 20years service. 1988-1992 worked for Ricoh repairing fax machines and laser printer in eastern NC 1992-1996 attended Methodist University graduating with BS in elementary education. 1996-2010 worked for Cumberland Schools teaching grades 3-5 and as media cordinator. 2010- present working at being retired and enjoying two grandson Cade and Colton(5 and 7years old) and one granddaughter Maddie 15months old. Currently enjoy a hobby I have had for about 15 years. I am Victor Solesbees niece....i am sending this message to let you know about him

Victor is in the Brian rehabilitation center in Weaverville. He has been there about 4 years. Before that he was at Sandstone rehab for about 9 years....

He has had a rough life and many people would never believe the things that have happened to him. Most have not been pleasant.

Victor is a veteran of the Navy. He has no children. He enjoys painting bird houses and several other crafts that they have at the Brian center....

It is with deep sorrow that he will not be attending this wonderful event. He is in a wheelchair with oxygen and I am not able to move him from chair to car.

It would be great if classmates could dr0p him a card every once in a while.
