After High School, I worked a couple of menial jobs until I took Nursing Assistant Training.  I then worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital when they still delivered babies.  I carried babies to and from the newborn nursery, several babies of our classmates.  Later I was hired by Dr. Morris (OBGYN).  During that time, I met my husband, Eddie, while he was in the Navy.  We got married April 7, 1972 and our son was born on February 7, 1975, which by choice ended my employment with Dr. Morris.


 


I worked at home with my mother in the Robinson Upholstery Shop.  After our son started school, I went to work at the VA Hospital.  Eddie and I retired from the VA with 30 plus years apiece.


 


We moved to Elberton, GA in 2015.  We both are cancer survivors and give GOD our THANKS.  He answers our prayers in His own Time.


 


Our son married a girl while he was in the Navy and eight years later presented us a grandson who is now eleven. 


 


My friend, Karen Roberts, since the 3rd grade, and I have stayed in touch through the years.  She has always been supportive in the things that happen in life.  November of 2016, with the help from a friend, I found my half-sisters and brother.  My Mother passed away two years before.  My Father was from Canada.  And Time passes on.


 


I spend my time now watching my horses playing in the pond and roaming in the pasture.  Eddie and I enjoy having visitors so if you know where the Georgia Guidestones are in Elberton, GA, you will be looking and our pasture and horses.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones  Come by and see us.
