Obituary for James Charles Rogers
James Charles Rogers (Jimmy), age 71, passed away at home on the morning of Thursday, December 10, 2020 from Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Leicester, NC on September 7, 1949 and was the son of the late Floyd and Annie Buckner Rogers. He was married to Parry Rosen Rogers for 43 years. James was educated in Asheville and earned his Associates Degree while working as a Supervisor with Square D for 33 years. In addition to his wife, Parry of Asheville, James is survived by two brothers, Wayne and David Rogers, nieces, and nephews. Because of Covid19 restrictions, the family will have a private graveside inurnment at Green Hills Cemetery at a later date.
